Your "sometimes if you need something done, you just need to do it yourself" attitude is commendable! Then you can check that off your list and keep moving forward to the next items.

I think the part that will piss mom off the most is that I'm not just holding her shit anymore
But that's not my problem

Oh well. It's not like you didn't ask her first and give her notice. If she asked you to keep her stuff and you said yes, that's another thing completely, but that's not what happened.

When is "D-day?"

Mom n dad are coming over tomorrow to pack up and remove more of their stuff, but the petty one has to wait until I have my phone under my own plan, which mom needs to be there for unless I want to change numbers (too much shit to change, no thanks) and have my own washer and dryer so that I can minimize any conversations with her
But it'll also depend on how much she packs and removes, too. If she takes a lot out, okay. Still annoyed that it's not all of her stuff but better than nothing. If she hardly removes anything, gotta see if I can find a decent washer n dryer that's not ridiculously expensive

Which when considering that I'm trying to save for the bathroom reno, not exactly a position I want to be in

My spidey sense is telling me that it's going to go on for a while longer...

But yes, a little is better than nothing!

Ask around and look in the local ads. Sometimes you can luck out with someone moving or upgrading giving washers and/or dryers away. If they work, they work. Might not look the greatest, but you'd be surprised how well people keep their appliances (when they've paid for them). Getting one or both for free or really cheap can buy you a lot of time.

Knowing mom, more than likely. Dad's been doing a bit every time he comes over lately, I think he's realized that I want their stuff out, so he's been putting pressure on mom because he's got almost everything of his out of the house, majority of what he has left is in the garage

Iirc I'll be limited by the hookup type I need, which is propane

Many dryers will work with LNG or Propane with a nozzle change (usually comes with the dryer, but I suspect most owners lose those parts). The nozzles are used by many brands (there are actually very few dryer manufacturers used by many brands) and the commonality of parts really surprised me.

I'll have dad help with it
Iirc the water tank he got they had a natural gas hookup and had to change it out entirely because propane. Or the stove. One of the two

I know they were here on the fact that the screen door was slightly ajar (it wasn't when I left) but it looks like if they did come over, mom did NO packing whatsoever

That or I start charging her for using my house as a storage unit. $50/room. 5 upstairs, 4 downstairs. Possibly up to all 6 depending on kitchen and what was dad's bedroom

Plan A sounds better. Charging just leads to more interactions/potential conflict.

Perhaps pack it all up (you'll have to do that anyway) and stick it all in one room and ask dad to take it. Sometimes getting started is the hard part, so if you pack it up, she can get over that hurdle.

It's mom. She won't do it if she doesn't have to
Also as my friend pointed out, the poop and puke has always been in that area, it's just no longer hidden by a table

It is
Especially when the weather gets good enough to have an open window so the cats can go outside

Also I have Corbin trained to exit my room if he's gonna puke. He started to hurk in bed and hauled ass the fuck outta here
Turns out he got all the way downstairs
I might get puppy pads around the areas he likes to puke the most so cleanup is simple

Found a table I like. Much smaller than the one that's here, which is WAY TOO BIG for me, so hopefully after mom's crap is off of it I can get it into the garage. Dad can help with disassembly, at least
Sadly, my friend's truck was too full to carry it so going tomorrow and her bf will help haul it cuz he keeps his truck clean
Which will free up a LOT of the room it's currently in
