I never thought of it that way, people don't have to get everything, just what they want.Less stress that way.

Got you a few more power gems.

How is the renovations going over the week end?

Are you keeping your eye on home repair sales?

251 currently

Waiting to pack again until what's still waiting to go over is out. Either way since the upcoming weekend is expected to be actually halfway decent, I'm hoping I can get my one friend to come over and help me clean up Corbin's messes in the one room so I can put puppy pads down. He's at least consistent with his puking being in that particular area, at least
There's also a secondary smaller area but he prefers the larger space
After that, the plan is to finish clearing out the bathroom of their stuff, which hopefully is a couple boxes at most (barring the towels that'll take 3/4 alone especially since I think that they'll have to be hidden under other things to finally get the parents to take them), and then either the fireplace room, which doesn't have much, the dining room, which also doesn't have much waiting to be packed unless the cedar chest is full, or the back room, which has a LOT waiting to be packed
As for the upstairs rooms, the hallway and mom's old bedrooms are the worst two, followed by storage/library. The last room has some things, but not a lot, so having someone help would make things faster, plus give me someone to talk to
I might do something tomorrow tho, depends on my mood

Also both parents forgot that the freezer that used to be in the back room is in their basement now, which was hilarious. First mom because we had a bunch of blank cd cases chilling on top of it, dad had to make her repeat her request to fetch them a few times and then point out that the freezer was moved before she remembered. Then later dad after shopping, went to hand me the freezer bags before going "oh yeah you don't have one there anymore" dad plz XD

And in entirely unrelated news, Corbin was just licking my ankle

Eh, not really
It comes and goes. I do need dad to help flip the one table so I can take it apart, but with the weather promising to be halfway decent this weekend he might hook up his trailer and get the table and storage chest out, which will really free up that room, enabling me able to get it more set up for how it want to have it

A cedar chest, is it an anitgue? Those seem so difficult to find anymore. They generally were used as a "hope chest' and passed down.
Good for keeping the bugs & moths out of the cloth but don't put food in it or it will taste like cedar smells!

Too bad you can't have them leave the chest, seems like it would be perfect with your fairy & porcelain stuff.
