Xye, It's difficult to get the parenting thing figured out because every child's personality is different and what works with one doesn't always work with the other... however, basic structure and consistency and letting them know they are loved helps make up for the shortcomings!

Does she like to be read to? Do you sit down and have drawing time together? Fun moments can be learning moments...asking her "what color should the <butterfly, apple, dress, flower> or whatever be? Even if she isn't to the point of coloring in the lines she can learn her colors and do her "scribble" on it. Is she two now?

Haven’t watched too many YouTube videos lately, but getting into some anime.

I am easily distracted lol, so I haven’t finished it yet.

Eh, idk if it’s good enough to do anything with though. I feel like my skill level isn’t that great lol.

I will be sure to do that. I think I am mostly feeling like I am failing because she is starting her sassy two year old phase and it’s throwing me for a loop.
Like she never was sassy or demanding, but now she is lol. I feel like I was just getting used to figuring out how to kinda communicate with her semi coherently. And now it’s shrieks lol. It’s fine. Just leveled up I guess.

We’re both growing, so it’s challenging, but I know it’s good.

She LOVES books and loves to color. We color outside with chalk almost everyday. She is starting to learn her colors and is starting to call out the color’s name, if she sees it.

awww I remember coloring on the sidewalk/driveway! And now there are so many colors of chalk to make it even more fun!Anything in particular you two like to draw with the chalk?

hmmm that gives me an idea...I should go write "Happy Birthday" to my friend on her driveway when she is off at work! (If she doesn't like it , it comes off easily with water).

They do animations. They tell stories of their life, or opinions on things, but they use animations to get their point across. Like reenacting their story with the animation, for example.

Oh, no. I'm terrible. But I have an excuse, it seems I have a motor skill problem, like a disability or something, that has to do with motor skills, so my handwriting is terrible, and it also affects my drawing skills. I mean, if I practiced and learned enough, I'd be able to draw better, but I didn't, so I can't. ^^

Welcome back! Two year olds are so adorable. Little people!

We'd all love to see everyone's art. But we don't want you to feel uncomfortable, so only when you're ready. (I sure you realize that we're one of the most supportive groups around, so you shouldn't feel like you'd get a lot of bad criticism from anyone here.)

Practice (e.g. just doing it) is how we all get better at things. (Pix, I hope you're reading this too.) Keep at it and you'll get better. This is a wonderful thing about humans. Not everyone will be exceptional like Michelangelo, etc., but the one thing for sure is if you keep doing it, you'll get better at it. And that's going in the right direction!
