ice bag helps the first day for swelling, keeping it raised as well but if you broke skin then keep an eye on the area for signs of infection. Hopefully you will be ok.

nice! I love when I can get unique pics.

No swelling, but the parts that did get shaped or gashed are covered

There's a pic I have a cat who is most likely no longer alive, where she's looking at me with her tailed flicked. And a kitten (who is somewhere around 15-16 now) playing with her tail. It's such a pretty picture that becomes absolutely hilarious when you see that bit. I hadn't even noticed when taking the shot!
That was done with an Actual Camera, so I'd have to ask dad if he still has it

Cats make amazing photographic subjects because they have such character.

Ouch, sounds like it might take some time to heal'

Happy Easter!

My right palm is showing signs of bruising already, and it's the one that hit harder
Shin hurts a fair bit, but only when moving that leg. I'm predicting that the bruise there won't show for a while, and when it does, it'll be sizable. Deep bruising

Imma sleep, make my lunches for the week, and that's about it, I think. Leg isn't really encouraging packing up mom's stuff

They didn't do that with the mechanic that almost lost a finger to a grinder, me losing to a pallet ain't shit

Dad did clear up the stuff on the floor at the messy corner of the dining room, so that's closer to being done, at least. Jjst need to remove the books and shelves before putting the racks there and getting stuff on them. Some of the stuff is lego kits I haven't done yet lol

Yeah sadly I don't think they'll get built until I've got the craft room done, which is an upstairs thing

I'm getting hella bruising
My leg is still at the early yellow/green phase, with one part showing dark
My arm is still getting darker with the bruise there as well
My palms are mostly fine, but they're darker than normal as well
So these bruises are deep

That sounds concerning!
Take pictures to show the progression & see the dr if it keeps getting worse. Not sure what can be done but deep bruising does not sound good....I suppose if you are still; able to walk & use your hands that is a good thing.

Hope you aren't in a lot of pain.

As long as I don't whack them they're fine
And considering how I got hurt, I'm not surprised that the bruising is taking days to bloom

And with the weather next week showing to be good (Tuesday is the peak with a predicted high of 71, the rest is all 60s), I've got curtains open for some natural light to come in
The tapestry I've got over one pair of windows is still there, I gotta figure out where I need to move the hooks to so it can hang on the wall opposite, but wow the house looks brighter
Also removed the one shelf, found some books I'd like to read on it
So that's just finishing cleanup and then I can get the shelves over there and set up. I've got two there already, there's a third in the closet that I haven't gotten out yet, but hey progress is progress
House is slowly looking less parents and more mine
The curtains on the living room windows are gonna be changed out, provided I find something I like
