Yeah some of the lanes had 6 people/lane, and with the lanes being paired, that's 12 people. I think those were the people who actually could bowl tho, cuz that's the side my lead was on
I was on a 4/lane, as was the group pair next to us, and they didn't fare much better

So...20-30 people? Small bowling alley

A nice turn out by the sounds of it.

Do they serve food as well? I haven't been bowling in ages because I suck but so long as I play with others who aren't bent on competing I have fun... like a strike for me is literally fluke & if they don't have the lane guards up then I have been known to bowl into another lane.

Alcohol, yes. The pizza and soft drinks the company provided
But the booze was in a different spot entirely so people had to go out and get it

Okay that's talented. One person I was playing with managed a pin despite getting a gutterball the one frame

I think it is why they put up lane guards ... because I am not the only one to master that feat!

Nice the company paid for the pizza & soft drinks. Was the pizza any good?

My bowling skills usually start off pretty good (strikes and spares 50/50), but fatigue? sets in and later frames are disasters. I'm not sure if it's physical and/or mental, but that's how it goes with my games.

Company parties/events can be good if you can hang with your work buds. You just have to remember to not let too loose--it is still work...

Lane guards are also for littles and blind folks. Back when dad was in college he had a blind classmate who got to use bowling for his college gym credits. Lane guards and someone else guiding him

That's actually cool, other than possibly dropping the ball on your foot that is probably a safer sport...plus the alarm goes off when you step over the line as well & you can hear if your ball goes in the gutter or hits a bowling pin.

So long as someone stood you in the right spot I would think you could count how many steps before you roll the ball as well, and I imagine a blind person would have good balance.

He had gutter guards up, so no chance of one anyway

Also didn't get mandated for Monday so finally had a three day weekend. Moved a couple things and got more stuff up
Also got the mantel cleaned and the old school sign hanging back up over it. It's not level at the moment but it'll eventually bug me enough into fixing it
I think I'm gonna work on getting the litterbox in the middle of the room off to the side, so that it's not the centerpiece of the room lol

Three day's off is nice! :cheer:

Always good feeling to get something productive done.

Litterbox in center of room... tripping hazard?? Being creatures of habit will the cats find it if you move it?

How are the bruises? Finally healing?

I noticed appliances are on sale for Mother's day ... so plan for it next year or so? I'm going to need a new dryer eventually. I don't see the all in one washer/dryers on sale which I think would be helpful for space.

More or less, yeah. Knee still feels weird when pressure is on it, but no pain so meh

I have space for both, so thankfully I don't need to worry about having to combine the two

I just wonder if you had torn anything when you were injured.

So gusty windy today, nice because it blew the clouds away but not so good for allergies.
How is it over where you are?

Dunno. Not worried about it tho since I'm working and moving just fine

Sunny. Warm after a couple random days of frosts

That's a relief!

Our frost has ended & so I have been trying to plant stuff except everything is now drying up which makes it difficult.

Were you going to do stuff in your yard or focus on the house? Do you have room for a veggie garden?
