Gizzie - you are good at making things,,,have you made any protective masks to wear? I know people sewing masks for their friends and family.

I have ideas for cute masks I am putting a turtle on mine or maybe a tongue lol but I don't have any thread at the moment so I need to brave germfest mad house Walmart or something.... I technically do have one dr mask it's one of the actual medical ones BUT it's from the movie premiere of the old movie Cabin Fever and it is blood splattered it was a movie promotion gift and if I were to wear it in stores I would clear out the store so I probably should keep it at home

Tongue ones are too cliché.
I say make several with different patterns and images. Cute ones, cool ones, etc. Then make outfits to go along with them. Then every time you go out, where a different mask with the outfit that goes with it. It'd be fun, and it might brighten up the days of the strangers that see you. The on,y problem is they might want a picture with you...

Gizzie, not sure if it'd be cruel and unusual, but turtle masks would be cute (if it didn't both them!). I suppose you could make some out of lettuce and they might enjoy that!

There are no sew mask patterns using unsued vaccum bags and someone gave the girl I work with a rectangle piece of material that they put a hair tie on each end ( for the ears with some coffee filters that you put inside the fold. It's funny but I guess in a pinch it could work! I think it would work well for when there is a lot of smoke in the air.

Here was my thought so like these are oxygen masks for on a plane in an emergency and paramedics have similar ones that hook to oxygen tasks or whatever for emergency purposes but like I have trouble on bad asthma days trying to breathe with the medical cloth masks on I get choked up so like if I could get ahold of one of these DON'T CONNECT IT TO A TANK OR ANYTHING but use it for a mask and the bag I'm breathing MY AIR and not germ air and use it for like the same concept as breathing in a paper sack when people hyperventilate I think this would work right ???
