To be honest, my life isn't the best right now, but I'm hanging in there. It's better than it could be. What about you?

Welcome back, Watery! <3

Pix, sorry to hear things aren't great. I ran across this video yesterday and found it to be enlightening.

It's about the difference between sadness and depression and how to cope.

Sending hugs.

Thanks. I'll definitely have to watch it later.

On a happier note, can anyone guess what Pokemon I'm cosplaying as in this avie?

I haven't kept up on Pokemon but with the cap and gloves I figured you were probably cosplaying a character.

Hope the company you have had have helped to brighten your days!

The cap is to add a spot of redness to it, and the gloves are there for that as well..

It's Latias!

Yeah, the company and food has helped a little. Except for my granny, who is part of the reason why life isn't the best.

Is she your real granny or part of your extended family?

I mean, I'm adopted, but I still call my parents my parents so she's my real granny in the sense that she's my dad's mom.

Understood. That's what I meant. Old people sometimes have one foot on the crazy train when they start to lose it. It's hard to deal with, but if you keep in mind that they're not all there it's a little easier to bear it. I find I can be a little more compassionate when I realize that one day (if I live that long!), that may be me too. :(

I guess. It's just hard. My dad lost his job, so did I, my sister basically failed college and hasn't been able to keep a job, then my granny gets worse and we might have to move to save money and it's all a little too much, so it's difficult to think that way. But I guess I can try.

Sorry to hear that all that is happening at once. It's probably comforting to have family that love and support each other.

Sometimes moving to a place that costs less money works out for the best. When homes are overpriced but rundown and all your money goes into up keep then it can be worth moving to a place that has less frills but the houses cost less and are nicer.

Yeah, but then my friends won't be able to come over because we'll be too far away from each other

Strangers are friends you just haven't met yet.

Maybe your current friends can come and visit and stay with you. Those kinds of visits are usually more fun too. Just trying to look for the positives. :)
