Hello and welcome back to the Fairy Garden!

I've been thinking of doing another fairy themed event on here, like the story and the facts events, but I'm not sure what to do. If you have any suggestions, please share them

I'll probably have to look up some of the info! I don't really know a whole lot about fairies...just what my imagination brings up!

Same. I just make it up as I go really. I make my own lore, since it's my garden.

Ok. Confession time! Although I'm a guy, I've often liked girly things. Like the Barbie movies, or these fictional books about fairies with rainbow powers, or dressing up, or playing as female characters in games, and there has been times when I've considered what life might be like as a girl, and I've even considered cross dressing. So what I want to ask is; what are some things you guys like that is considered weird for you to like. For example, manly things when you're female, or cartoons while you're an adult? So like, things that are "acceptable" for certain groups, but not yours, but you like them anyway?

I think a lot depends on the environmental influences people are raised in...I played in the dirt with trucks with my brothers but they'd play dolls with me sometimes ( mind you half the time my dolls got their heads loped off), and I have always felt more comfortable in pants then dresses...but 100 years ago it was scandalous...a woman could be arrested for wearing slacks never mind a suit! and in some cultures a woman still has to cover up! ...thousands of years ago men wore skirts (scottish kilts and roman toga's) and that was not out of the ordinary. But I think dressing like a "man" is more comfortable...wearing a skirt is constricting,..I'm glad we are getting to the point wear it is not illegal to dress the way we want.

True enough, the environment you live in can definitely shape you. But wouldn't a skirt allow for more movement?

but skirts can blow up or be tight so you can't move or creep up if you are sitting or get caught in stuff ...and I usually always wear shorts under my skirt.
