It's a cute little adventure with a kind of scary twist. The dark lord has stolen people's faces, and put them on monsters. You must go on an adventure to stop him, meeting people along the way who join your party. There's also this divine entity in a random amulet you were given who grants you power ups for every 50 faces you collect.
The part I love is the customization. You can have more hairdos, more colors, different colored tips of the hair, and a wide variety of cool and cute makeup for eyes, eyebrows, eye shadow, blush, and mouth, and maybe one or two more I forgot. It adds a WHOLE new way of making Miis. The only downside is it seems you can't use these edits in other games. Like, I REALLY wanted to add my edits to Smash, but it would appear to be the case where I can't. But! You can ask customize your party members.
Lastly, the more time two people spend together in a room in an inn, or doing other things, the more their relationship improves, and a little heart gets filled up. Each time it gets completely full, the relationship gains a level and you gain a new uncontrollable ability. Like helping each other out, showing off for each other, praising each other, or comforting each other. I say uncontrollable because you can't make it happen, it's a random chance.

So I just beat the first kingdom, and all of my party members, apart from my main hero, git kidnapped, and I lost my role AND my levels. I am back to level one with a new role and starting to make a new party

Sounds a lot more fun then the previous Mii mini games I've played, granted those were free.

Yeah. New party, level one, no perks remain, have to build up relationships again, etc. Thankfully I did keel the horse, so that relationship doesn't have to be rebuilt.

My last team was just made of Miis I like, but this team (apart from the main hero) is made of not-so-human characters. Those being Ori from Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, a catgirl Mii, and an elf Mii.

I'm thinking of making my NEXT team, since I know there's going to be another reset, to be even less human. Because I've made some Miis that have crazy faces. One that looks like a clock one that looks like a cyclops, an arrow shape, etc.
