Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

My parents came over here the Saturday before xmas. My mom made 3 lasagnas! Had friends over too so there was plenty of food for all of us. Had leftovers for a week, it was awesome. But I wish my mom wouldn't of worked so hard on the food. Next year I gotta contact her sooner beforehand.

I really meant to check in, especially for Novelia. I kind of felt stuck and still not as productive as I'd like to be but I've been easier on myself about that. We know have a new roommate staying with us, a friend of a friend. Trying to help him get back on his feet.

Think I need to go back to having an idea of what I'd like to do each week and set time for the things I haven't been doing. And allowing myself computer time at my desk! Cause using my tablet is like doing the same thing only computer is easier to use.

I almost stayed in bed today but when I got up to eat I decided to eat at my desk.
May have my dog to thank for that because he wanted to stay downstairs and made me rethink.

I finished A Series of Unfortunate Events. Wish there was more!

I think I'm going to watch Bird Box next.

Haven't watched that series for quite a few years. I'm wondering what "The clock in the wall" is like, I saw that it is available on redbox. I have not heard anything about "bird box" so let me know what you think of it.

I enjoyed it but that's because I didn't have any expectations. It's a survival type movie. It's beautifully shot and I liked the acting. If you can enjoy the journey and not expect to much from it I think you would like it.

I saw Bad times at El Royale and had no clue what it was going to be about and it left me questioning whether I really want to stay in a hotel again! Honestly, at the end I was thinking if the guy had not interfered as he was told not to, then maybe no one would have died. BUt it is hard to judge because he thought he was helping and I probably would have wanted to have helped save someone's life as well. (Although I would probably just call 911).
