And also, how do we feel about Space Force? I'm all for it, but ah let's change the name...

Ohhh I like that! The "Galaxy Garrison" from Voltron: Legendary Defender could give us some good inspiration too.

What would our new space force be tasked with doing in space though? XD It's not like we've discovered any new alien life (threatening or not) that we need to protect the Earth from

I think the idea is like the AirForce, but in space.

I think we need to start with getting a base on the moon with a dome with gravity etc and then think about branching out. We don't want to get marooned or "lost" in space.

I've read that's definitely in the plan. While the privateers are going directly to Mars, NASA wants to build a permanent station on the moon. While going to Mars is really cool, going to the moon first to sort out the living space things makes more long run sense.

If things go well for the moon base, we could even think about expanding it into a small colony! Mostly of scientists of course, but also the everyday civilian like ourselves. Could this small base of earthlings on the moon grow into a lunarian colony??? :0

I have a feeling that construction/tech/services people will be the largest population. Science will still be there, but they'll be outnumbered. I just hope the politicians are not allowed there! LOL

Rules are the structure of civilization but hopefully in the future people will follow and support the rules so that people in general benefit and common sense and consideration prevails.

A lunar colony or spaceship base would be cool.
