Over here it seems like the fires affect us whether it is from smoke, power being turned off, or displaced people. The problem is mainly people building in high prone areas and a drought of sorts. There are other ways to come up with the water but no one seems to want to invest in those resources.

I haven't gone swimming in a while... I don't really like going though because it means that i have to take my glasses off and i can't see anything

You can wear them under swimming goggles without fear of losing them.
