I much prefer toboganning or sledding to downhill skiing...I think it is because I'm closer to the ground and that makes it less distance to fall

I loved sledding as a kid. It made living on a hill an upside.
Not able to enjoy it anymore, except to looking at freshly fallen snow.
It can be such a mess when it melts though. The dogs get themselves all muddy last week.

Tobogganing is fun. There's a hill a few minutes away from where I live, and I used to love tobogganing there.

ya, dirty snow/mud is definitely a downside of snow melting. :strain:

Yeah, that's true. Even if you don't go out much, the dog brings the mud in, and the view is all brown and unappealing.

Lemon sporting the haircut, looks nice!

We wiped his paws but the comforter still got dirt all over. e.e
I kept reminding myself that it needed to be washed anyway Xp

Happy Chinese New Year everyone!
Wow i've missed a whole chunk of conversation here... But it's really interesting reading about your experiences with snow.

I went back to school at the beginning of the week so I haven't had spare time. It's going to be very busy this year :scream:

Happy New Year to you too!

So was that considered your Winter Break? When does the school year begin and end for you? Over here we typically go from late Aug/early Sept to early-mid June.

I think it was our summer break... we don't really label our breaks according to seasons we just have 2 school semesters in a year, and two 'terms' in a semester
So all together we have four terms, each 10 weeks of school with a two week break between terms and a longer break between the end - start of a new school year.
We started term one on the 4th of February and we usually finish term 4 around November/December but since i'm upper school this year we finish after week 4 in term 4 so we finish super early
We also finish early on Mondays, 2:40 instead of the usual 3:20 and super early on Wednesdays, 1:00 instead of 2:40
