I don't really like shopping, but seeing things at the store that are cool is nice.

What stops me (besides the money bits) is thinking about not having space (like a warehouse) to put stuff! I have to keep reminding myself of that!

Sometimes looking is fun, if it's something I'm interested in.

This article about Australia Fires suggests that Australia should be allowing Aboriginals to dictate the control burns since they have been doing it for the past 50,000 years and understand the terrain and plant life and the need for small controlled burns and the seasons to perform them.

A friend in Australia says that they have ash from the fires daily...I can't imagine how difficult that has to be on the breathing!

Hope you and your family are staying safe AliCat!

I've heard about that theory. Honestly literally anything should've been done before to stop it from getting that bad.
I'm overseas at the moment but luckily I don't live in a bushfire prone area. Some small fires break out where I live but it's concerning to hear about what's going on in some other parts. A few people have lost their lives in the fire or fighting it and there's just so much loss going on that should have been prevented.

Like, it was one thing seeing it on my tv at home but seeing it also on international tv was like "woah. Australia is on tv!? Australia is never on tv, like, I guess some people do care about our country." And even the other day I smelt fire smoke from a small fire and I thought 'ha, smells like Australia'.

Anyways, hi Khadijacandy. I don't think we've had a proper chat. How are you?

That's an interesting theory.
Oh that's no good.
I hope so, too.

Hello!

Indeed.
That sounds tough for everyone. I hope it gets better.
If only Australia was on tv for good things, like a scientist from there had discovered a cure to AIDS or something.
Khad often says hi in various threads. It's always nice to have a chat with them.

Over seas as in Japan!?!?!?

I hope a cool breeze blows the smoke and ash away from homes. Some firefighters from the US have gone to help put out the fires in Australia.

Sorry Npixelz! If you ever catch me again don't e afraid to send a private message. I tend not to look at who's online at times so that's probably the best way to catch my attention. Sleep is good to though ^w^

Gingerale: How'd you know that!? I don't think I've mentioned my trip on Windlyn...
It seems like they need all the help they can get fighting the fires. However they've been flooded with too many donations for things they don't need in certain areas, like baby clothes and diapers in an area that housed mainly elder residents. They're asking for people to donate money instead of other things, which I found interesting.

Japan!? Cool!
That'd be nice. That's good of them.

Okie! Will do! Yes it is.
Gingerale is psychic.
Money is helpful because then they can buy what they know they need.
