I've only seen the floods when it has rained for days and no more water can absorb so it sits on top.

Thankfully I have never been in a flash flood, that seems terribly scary.

How can you live in Canada and have not seen any flooding...even just a mild amount? Do you maybe just play it smart and stay infoors when it rains a lot?

I remember we had a hail storm a few years ago. Our back yard was flooded. I was quite young but i still remember my dad's shoes floating away. I have another memory of a huge storm and all the power went out but we rang my mum and i was too afraid to talk on the phone because i thought that if there was lighting outside and if it hit the telephone lines then it would go through the phone and hit me
Looking back it must have been so funny to watch me as a child

There are a lot of floods over in other parts of Australia.. it's amazing what such large amounts of water can destroy

Yeah, but even when I go out in the rain, I haven't seem flooding, and we live on the top of a small valley, yet even in the valley I see no flooding.

That sounds... Not fun.

I have the keys to my flat already!! But I'll probably be moving in two weeks because my parents are currently in vacation and they wanted to help with the move.

Also don't sweat it, I have a very weird taste in music xD
