Ya I have two rooms, living and bed room. And there will be sleep sofa in the living room.

Still contemplating whether I should get a double bed for the bed room or not...

King size! (Although there won't be much room for any other furniture).
Do you already have a bed? Maybe don't spend the extra money right now if you do. You can think about it then.
A bigger bed is good if your parents came to stay. Our Queen size beds are a bit bigger then the double/full size over here and are about the same price...not sure on how they do your sizes in Germany. Online has some great memory foam mattresses at low prices over here. Queen size sheets will fit double beds ...just need to tuck the bottom sheet in a little..so keep that in mind when you check out the sales.

Nah I dont have a bed yet but I have a mattress. And I could just get a second one. XD

That's an important determing factor ...maximize the space. I suppose you can't do murphy beds in a rental (the beds that fit up against the wall and you pull them down).
There are some economical computer desks with shelving that fit into the corner of the room so they take up little space but got room to put your stuff on.

plain white is sometimes all a landlord will let you do ~ but everything goes with white.

Are you allowed to hang pictures on the walls?

White is good. I mean, dirt and stains are more noticeable, but oh well.

Yesterday I saw a commercial for a murphy bed that fits into a a chest that looks like a dresser but also has a drawer at the bottom. Pricey mind you but a great idea if someone doesn't have much room and needs to hide the bed away. (Plua no attaching anything to the walls).
