Yeah, she has one of those patches so she doesn't feel pain. She does a little though. I don't know it's rough seeing her this way because she's the toughest person I know and I know she hates feeling vulnerable.
She told me today was probably the last time I was ever going to see her and to remember her. She's always been a little morbid but geez lady.

Pain control is always a good thing.

I don’t know anyone who likes feeding vulnerable.

Her exacerbated morbidness might have something to do with the circumstances. I imagine she is upset. My emotions were heightened during the period doctors almost convinced me I was terminal.

Your strength, determination, amazes me Vivianne!

We are all going to die sometime, we could get in an accident tomorrow, we don't know when the last time will be that we see someone, do something so best to live each day to the fullest. Sometimes I think people given a terminal verdict make the best of the time they have left, they prepare themselves to go, at least that is what I have found from friends who have had cancer and lost the battle. But what a horrific realization to have to deal with. To have treatment, to not have treatment. To go home and live out the last days or stay in the hospital, Someone must have encouraged you and gave you a direction to try and overcome your diagnosis, Vivianne.

Mouse, leaving not knowing if you will see someone again is very difficult and your Grandma sounds like she wanted to prepare you. I hope you got some good moments together, if just sitting holding hands.

Thank you Gingerale. It was a guess, on the doctor’s part, based on my prognosis and the choices I’m not willing to make. She did admit she couldn’t say for sure. I’ve already made it three months and seem to be doing fine, but anything can happen.

Mouse, i’m glad you have this chance to see your grandma. I hope your family isn’t too shy to use the hospice’s bereavement services if they end up needing it and the hospice offers it.

I think that would be a hard thing to know
I don't know, I hope it's okay if we don't talk about it anymore. It's rough to think about.

How has everyone been? Any tips on the new event?
