Alright everyone it has been a year since we moved into our house lol and we FINALLY finished sanding the freaking floors today. Ahhh Im sooooo happy

I'm just trying to keep cool. The smoke from the fires make it difficult to open up the windows (not that it's cooler outside, but some air circulation is better when it's hot out).

It's supposed to get a little cooler tomorrow. I hope they're right!

They are oak wood floors!! And I havent done anything to it yet lol! I think it will be a next year thing. We need to rent a dumpster! I have some ideas Also yes I know! I love my money pit lol

Oak is such a warm colored wood. Pretty hardy as well.

You can always put a throw rug on it if you need to help protect it or put floor protectors on your furniture.

Oh yes, those slidey things will save your floors. After putting so much work into making them look nice, the first scratches and marks are traumatic!

You guys I'm so excited!! My friend got me hired at a company she works for!! The pay is really great for here and I will have my own office. I'm so excited. I feel kind of bad about leaving my current position because I just accepted a different one at my current workplace but I'm so excited
