I think I had that at a cafe once - it was called 'Dirty Chai'.
It was alright, but the coffee just overpowers the tea! The spices work really well with the coffee.

Fortunately, tea can take a long time to go bad. It may lose flavor, but as long as it doesn't get wet or too humid, it's not actually going to go off.
