Writing with an fountain pen is really smooth! There's less of a bite/scratch that's normally felt using regular ballpoints. Also doesn't need a lot of pressure to let the ink flow, so it's easier on the wrist especially for longer writing periods. You have to write at an angle tho and keep the pen pointing at one direction while writing!

SSSHHHH i'm willing to try out penguin meat at least once

Gonna get a touch personal since I also share some of my stuff here.
(If u saw this elsewhere then yea it's a crosspost)

Since there’s stalkers and plagiarists out and about, I’m starting to feel cagey about sharing concepts and designs and art.

They’re mostly just for fun original things I would like to share and talk about, especially if there’s other people who enjoy them. But now that I’ve witnessed first-hand intentional, malicious, spiteful plagiarism (and not just reposting for ease of access without credit or permission), my mind’s at war between protecting what is mine and giving a metaphorical middle finger by continuing anyway.

Like… I put a lot of thought and effort into these stuff, and to see them be cannibalized by others to lazily pad their own work and prop their worthless egos is just… both infuriating and nauseating.

(Disgust combined with anger is hate, isn’t it?)

They’re also intensely personal - it’s impossible to create something without leaving into it a part of yourself, after all. And nearly every single work I have - be it writing or art or even the skeleton of lore and world-building and character designs - all of them take inspiration from my experiences, the people I meet, the things I love and cherish, my thoughts and musings.

They were made for personal reasons. Shared for personal reasons. And if people like them, that’s just a bonus. And I’ll make and share more, because there’s too much suffering already in this world and making one other person happy with something I enjoy is always more than worth it.

But there are people who take that for granted and just do whatever they wish without considering that the world is more than just them.

Gods. I’ve lowered my standards (compared to edgy HS me) with respect to people to just ‘as long as they treat others with respect and decency, or at least trying their best to, they’re good’. Yet somehow even with a bar that low, people still disappoint.

I can’t decide if that’s sad or hilarious.

...

After venting about this, sleeping on it, and further rumination on a good cup of tea, I've decided that plagiarists who cannot produce anything competent enough, or could only feel pride by almost literally becoming someone else other than themselves, are very sad and pathetic and unsexy.

So it shall be business as usual.

After all, the very act of stealing exposes more of the thief's character than mine.
