I worked on my birthday and the people I work with brought in several cakes and goodies for me and I got my free birthday starbucks drink ... then time with family in the evening, it was a very nice day. Hope the people you work with made your day special, Bassy.

Make sure you puree it ! mmm I haven't had cream of potato soup in awhile ... add some bacon pieces and shredded cheese ... yum.

I honestly never made soup. I’m picky with soup but soup is stilll good for the ones I like.

I've made a pretty good veggie and beef soup.

Just a roast, cooked in a crockpot overnight, shredded
tomato soup
a bag of frozen mixed veggies
potatoes
and broth

Simple and easy. I think it's pretty tasty.

Sounds like I'd eat the soup[/stew. Chili is kind of like soup ... depends on how thick you make it. Actually I think I have had chili soup before. I like the broth of soups best.

Today I’m having toast with peanut butter and bananas and honey on bakery bread. It’s actually really good.

I took you up on your idea Monkeygirl and made some beef soup. But I used onion soup packet as the base, added chopped onions, shredded carrots and frozen mashed potato's then threw in some canned beets ... haha made it borscht!

hahahahaha I actually love beets ... they are a good source of iron... but I understand it is an acquired taste ... like Brussel sprouts or squash.

Brussel sprouts if done right taste like mini cabbages but they can be very bitter so it is an art to choosing and cooking them.

I made chicken noodle soup today with lots of veggies! It is an over cast windy day so it was a perfect warm "comfort" food!

Chili sounds so good right now. But i never made it before and currently dying my hair so I can't get the ingredients. I need to go to the store no matter what because I been planning to bake cookies for a week now and my milk spoiled. Couldnt even make pancakes either this morning

I hate when I go to use milk and its sour ... especially when it hasn't reached the expiration date!!

I think you can use water with the prepaid pancake mixes.
