Currently buying a car. Why do we sign our lives away to live?

Especially right now when demand is up so prices are too.

Are you getting a brand new car or were you able to find a good used vehicle?

Well, I found a car. Used but practically almost brand new since it’s 2019. Spending more than what I planned buuuuut I think I’ll manage.

It's painful just thinking about it....

I’m more worried about the insurance than the car payment. Because you have to have full coverage until you get it paid off. That I feel like is a freaking legal scam.

If the roles were reversed (I was the "owner" before the buyer paid me in full), a full insurance requirement would be wise. Shop around. You'd be suprised how much rates vary from company to company.

Though full insurance is wise, one wanted a 500$ down payment and I’m like heck no. I’m tryna work it out this morning so see what I will pay with a certain insurance. Hopefully I’ll get a good rate.

My luck consists of every time I get a car I will always run over a nail/screw in my tire. It’s really annoying.

Do you drive by any construction sites or do you think perhaps they are from your driveway? I picked up a screw in my tire and think I got it from the Home Depot parking lot. Do you know how to change a tire to your spare?

There was road work. I’m sure it was from that.
Once in the Wendys drive thru. I heard that one.

But I almost couldn’t get it patched because of where it was in the tire. Almost had to get a new one but luckily the auto people were able to patch it. Thank god
