Hello!

Re: Mercury poisoning

Glad no one got sick, Ashton.

Just FYI, "Mercury can be inhaled, absorbed through the skin or eyes, or ingested."

I'm sure, it would be long term effects on your health and may not be long as long? Not sure on how long they would survive after that.

Sometimes People tend to die shortly after retiring because they are used to so much activity & then tend to have a stationary life style. They don't keep fit or healthy. Plus keeping the mind active helps.

Got to keep mentally & physically active!

Retirement age is based on how long people will live and me thinks purposefully set to pay as little out as possible...

That lead incident at your job sounds awful, Ashton. D';

Has there been any other incidents since then (not lead related)?

Any hazmat exposure is a big deal now.
Thankfully you were safe. Much depends on temperature as well in regards to toxic spills.

It's hard to save enough for retirement because prices keep sky rocketing, stock market investments fluctuate more then I can keep track of & there is only so much less you can live on.

this is the only one that resulted in the building being shut down and about the retirement, those people make enough to retire and would rather just die than retire in most cases because they don't like their families, would rather die at work than retire or be forced to retire (severe mental or physical health issues would be the most common reasons)

That is so sad that they don't have anything to look forward to after they retire.
