I've been so busy ;;

I got my bad filling tooth fixed, yaaay. New filling. Now the one on the opposite side hurts. Why dis.
I go tomorrow for JURY DUTY STUFF. UGH.
And maybe two more doc appointments if I can squeeze them in.
Then on the 15th I go for look at for my wisdom teeth execration. Oh boy. Very excited. SURGERY. Ahahahahah aaaaaaaah ;;

Thanks Kit: Got my boost for the day - those photos are ridiculously cute !!

Silverfire: Most people have their wisdom teeth extracted all at once either under general anesthetic or "twilight sleep", however I opted for one at a time under local anesthetic so that I was awake( and mine were full bone impacted which means they were completely covered by bone and had to be cut into pieces to be removed). I've assisted with others who had one side at a time removed also. So, there are several options for you especially if you don't do well under a general anesthetic. I do have a high pain tolerance though.

I DO NOT have a high tolerance for pain and I had an impacted wisdom tooth extracted under local anesthetic. While I can't say it was completely a walk in the park, I made it through. I can't say I felt nothing, (I'd call it uncomfortable) but it wasn't searing pain or anything near that. In fact the most uncomfortable part it all was seeing smoke come out of my mouth (and smelling it!) as they sawed my tooth into pieces to dig it out!!

I guess what kept me going was knowing that it would end/there would be an end to it all, and no one ever died from from a tooth extraction!

People don't die from the extraction but they can die from infection, bacteria entering their blood stream or a reaction to the anesthetic. Always make sure you tell your Dentist your family medical history for allergies and don't have any surgery done if you have a cold or are sick. Plus clean your teeth well before getting the work done as you won't be able to rinse or brush for a couple days after.

And I know, I just haaate any kind of surgery. I'll probably go for the twilight sleep one since they are mostly in, anyway.

I also got a flu shot today. arm is very ow ;;
