Shouldn't be too bad since it is only 3 hours... you may have trouble getting to sleep the first night home since your body will think it is earlier then it is...the flights/travelling are what seems to be exhausting the most.

But how fun !!

Six Flags wants you to be friendly and helpful
But not to your coworkers
That'll get you written up because that policy only applies to guests
I'm on the line for being written up for that
So is mom
And who knows how many others

My opinion of SF was already low, and now I'm waiting for the shovel to be tossed so I can keep digging my opinion lower

Someone should write Six Flags up to human resources! Even the US Postal service wants its co-workers to have a "best friend" in their office and there is a whole program to develop commaraderie!

Mom put out some feelers and it's not just her and me

They don't want comradrie, they want sales

And it's pissing off coworkers cuz one would flag me down for a bathroom break cuz flagging down glow is a lot less time than the "call dispatch to radio a lead so a lead can call so you can get a bathroom break and then wait for that person to head over"
The part before the walking over can take up to five minutes. The walking can take longer
The best part? Area leads don't mind if I do a bathroom break for someone. It's someone from corporate, I bet

When employee's work well together it boosts the morale and happy employee's are more willing to work harder and to exhibit their enthusiasm to their customer's - have the supervisor tell them that!

I looked to see if America Ninja warrior would be filming their Las Vegas show while you were there but apparently they did that last month. However, I did learn the tickets are free and you have to book almost a year ahead !

So this probably explains why some of the people don't do so well on the course:
" The show films overnight from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. They are expected to film until Tuesday morning".
I wouldn't do a course very well if I was having to run it at 2 am in the morning!

This is the big issues with laws and rules; people tend to forget or ignore the purpose/desired outcome/behavior that the law or rule was meant to address. (The old letter of the law vs intent.)

It sounds like there is some wiggle room in there for find a more practical solution for covering for someone, but companies being what they are, and many if not most middle managers as a rule are idiots (the ones that are good move up--the rest remain to continue to mess things up), not surprising...

The sad part? Under the five or six other companies we were under in the other years I worked (Herschend and PARC come to mind, there were some private owners too), if someone in retail flagged down a glow person for a bathroom break, no one cared
Crazy socks? Whatever
Crazy hair colors and styles? Iffy for food service for very practical and obvious health reasons
Earrings? No gauges too big please. Especially for food service
Tattoos? Cover any that are inappropriate, otherwise we Gucci
Shoes? So long they aren't blatantly not-sneakers, no problems. Unless it's raining so hard your socks and sneakers got soaked while you were in a building that happened to mom back in 2012, she ended up borrowing my crocs and I spent about half my shift barefoot. My lead that year told me to put my socks and shoes on after my feet dried out but otherwise understood why I was barefoot
Talking to a coworker on a slow day? Just keep an eye on the store while you do, and an ear on the phone

Six Flags? They flip their shit over all of that
