I do live at home still. And there's a plan in place for me to take the house in some years mostly to spite my oldest sister lol

Idk about the rest. Picketing does bring visibility tho

I do know it isn't the union giving the company shit, it's the company trying to pull some shady shit, up to and including bribery and we aren't falling for it

I get holidays off with no pay because they make sure I work under 40 hrs a week and if I work 40 hrs a week then it has to be for 6 months straight to be entitled to holiday pay. But if a holiday falls in that 6 months then it discounts the time. But I am glad to have a day off & I can use vacation time to cover that day off.

They work around it one way or another. Doesn't seem right sometimes because its not like I could work a holiday if I wanted because we are closed.

They dropped it to just President day and good Friday dropped. Which are two no one really care about
Our holidays are paid, provided we show up the shift before and the shift after said holiday. Unless given permission not to

They worked out the state law thing to not absolutely merk the time off of those who have had more than 56 hours, so they keep that vacation time, plus 56 hours flex time
Hilariously, during the round 2 meeting someone came up with a situation that those working on the contract had not come up with: our two for one attendance hit plus the law flex time 3 shifts no note required, basically we can go a full week without coming in or needing a note, right? The poor guy had to admit that such a scenario hadn't crossed their minds

The pay raise to top of every grade? Retroactive to first of the month. V nice

I don't think Good Friday is a holiday here anymore. So much for an Easter holiday! Then the Presidents birthdays which we'd get off now got lumped into one President's day.

One of my coworkers and I have plans to tie him to a chair and fix it. The facial hair too, since that's getting out of control
