Lot's of fall themed drinks right now, got to love the pumpkin latte's & the caramel apple flavors, especially hot apple cider.

Do the employees at your work get to create your own flavors? That would be cool to come up with some fun mixes.

to me it tastes like a warm pumpkin chocolate chip cookie ^^

Well I guess the past few years have been crazy LOL
I got a divorce...it was super messy, moved in with my mom for a year and a half. I'm now living on my own w/ my dog and daughter ^^ been living on my own for 2 years? almost 3?
I have an amazing boyfriend and I'm just. head over heels. I don't think I was ever treated as well as they treat me. I'm beyond blessed.

This drink sounds soooo goood. *-* One thing I miss about being a barista is experimenting with drinks like this. I saw a reel on Instagram the other day of someone making a pumpkin cold foam mocha at home, and it looked so yummy!

I've worked at Tim Horton's, a local coffee shop back at home, Nordstrom's EBar, Barnes & Noble, a local coffee shop where I live now, and Starbucks. :3 What about you, if you don't mind me asking?

I just discovered the blonde expresso at Starbucks ... I buy a bag & brew it at home.

I am saddened to hear you had a messy divorce, it has to be hard on your daughter as well, but it sounds like you are in a better place now. Raising a child is not easy but it sounds like you have support, emotionally at least, and great you have a job to help pay the bills.

Does Starbuck's give health benefits & vacation/sick pay?

I had a local cafe make me a "dirty Chai" that had a shot of expresso in it. It was SO good & really smooth, plus gave me a buzz ...maybe there were 2 shots of expresso in it?
If I went into a Starbucks & asked for it do you think they could make it?

YEAH! We'll be going trick or treating on Halloween LOL but we also did this thing called Witchfest? A couple of weekends ago?
You can dress up as a witch and there all kinds of witches and little vendors and cute shops
kinda has like a Stars Hallow- small old town vibe.

How 'bout you? Any fun halloween plans/events?

ooooo I think that could be really tasty! There's this tik toker I follow who makes a lot of experimental drinks kinda like that. I should see if they have something like that. I'll send it to you if I can find it.

She's still the most caring and joyful kid I have ever encountered.

People don't always realize how much benefits add to the wage. For me my employer pays about $12,000 a year for my health insurance...I'd have to work another job on top to pay that on my own.

The Starbucks I worked at was in the emergency department of a hospital, so it was always really busy from the moment we'd open until closing time (or even after closing time because people were inconsiderate and didn't care if we were trying to shut down). I was on autopilot during most of my time there, but I loved making drinks. I'd always been quick and precise with making them, so surprisingly I loved the rushes when we'd get a lot of orders. xD

^ My heart hurts for what you and your daughter had to go through, and this in particular almost brought a tear to my eye. As a kid I witnessed what my parents went through during their divorce and it still effects me to this day, so it pains me that your daughter had to go through it. Like Lemon said, you're doing something right for her to be so joyful after everything she's been through, so keep it up! It'll mean so much to her when she gets older and looks back on these memories.
