I didn't have cake because my parents are on a trip and my brother won't cook or would even leave the house to buy one.



I do want to make cupcakes again. I might do that tonight.

I generally have baked my own cake or picked up a favorite cake for my birthday myself, even when I lived with my parents. I view birthday's as a fair excuse to eat cake! (or doughnuts or pie or whatever your birthday dessert favorite is). And males don't always like sweets so much - or even celebrating birthday's - so that is typical.
