We have the opportunity to develop technology that may allow us to experience things outside of the norm but I fear for the abuse of such technology. Like the Matrix allowed people to live in a world but the reality of the people's world was that they lived in an incubator attached to tubes, unaware of their true existence.

Unfortunately most horrible things that have appeared in sci-fi movies have already or will eventually come true. The sad part is we saw and knew before pretty much all of it happened and were powerless to prevent or stop it. I have massive respect for the few like Elon Musk who envision the future and try to warn all of us about the pitfalls and folly of tech with little regard for societal well being... so I remain somewhat hopeful for now.

We can hope for now that there is enough insight to prevent things from going a long the ways of "The Terminator" movie.

I feel like we need to watch the simpsons since they predicted some events as well. But it’s kinda scary if these Sci-fi shows come to life. Like The 100 or Dr. Stone (highly unlikely lmao that’d be interesting)
