There's a woman in the waiting room who's been talking on the phone for the past hour or so, and another woman just came up to me to ask if there's somewhere else to wait because she's tired of listening to her conversation. I gave her two options: the other waiting area down the hall, or a nice, peaceful lounge area downstairs. She then got mad at me for making these suggestions, finding it "not surprising" that I'd suggest she go to another area as opposed to making the other woman leave. I'm so confused?? She literally asked me where else to go??

Unrelated to the previous topics, but I just wanted to chime in real quick.

You guys remember this incident, right? Well, the lady has been here all day because her mom has appointments. My manager just had to contact campus police to escort her out of the building because she was being rude and belligerent to a girl in the waiting room. They were the only two in the waiting room and the lady was talking very loudly on the phone to the point where the girl could hear her through her headphones. The girl kindly asked her to speak quieter and the lady went off on her, fat-shaming her and calling her out of her name (i.e, the "B" word and such). She then got up and sat uncomfortably close to the girl trying to antagonize(?) her. I contacted my manager, and when she tried accessing the situation, the lady went off on her, too. Since this is the second incident of her being rude, my manager is discussing with the higher-ups to make sure she is not allowed in the building anymore. She can only come to drop-off and pick-up her mom.

I remember when people would leave the room or at least move when getting a phone call... or else they'd quickly ask/tell the caller "Can I call you back?" "I have to call you back."
