I just want some sort of treat other than chips/party mix. I'm happy with my party mix, but I long for something else

Honestly, I don't drink very much milk or eat very much cheese since it does not agree with me....but for some reason I don't have a problem with ice cream!

Goat milk is only expensive here because there isn't a demand for it and so there aren't many goat dairy farms. However, if you have your own goats to milk you'd have more then enough for your own consumption. I personally don't like the gamey taste.

Npixelz: what did you have in mind?

even to bake cookies!?!?!

it's actually a good idea to learn to cook though...even if it is only simple foods. Did you have to learn any cooking in school?

Even that.

I know how to cook simple stuff. I cook every second week, and I used to cook more. I just don't like doing it is all. No, I didn't.

do you have to cook and clean up or just get to cook and let someone else clean up?

I don't have anything I LIKE to cook, but I'm proud of my taco making, my spaghetti and meat sauce making, and my chili making. But they all require a lot of work, so they aren't my favourite dishes to make.

Me and my sister have a deal. One person cleans the kitchen in the morning, and the other person cooks. Then we both clean up after supper. One of us washes, the other dries. Whoever washes gets to put on their music of choice. Then we make my mothers lunch for the next day, dividing up the work between us.

That sounds like a very thought out plan! Enjoy these opportunities to work together even though they may just seem like chores right now.

Always interested in a good meat sauce. Care to share your recipe? :)

I'm with Lemon--a totally workable, fair, and fun plan!

Yeah, it's a nice plan.

I don't have a recipe, I just brown the meat and pour in ragu. I do have a recipe for meatballs, but I haven't made them often enough to be good at it. My chili also has a recipe but I forgot it. :P silly me!

Ragu is very good. I like it!

Do you put in breadcrumbs in your meatballs? Just hamburger or do you mix in pork or?

Yeah it is.

I DO put in breadcrumbs! No pork though, just hamburger meat.
