Only tiny pieces in waffles! I was previously able to eat chocolate cake, but it’s been a good year and a half at least!

I'd melt the chocolate and swirl it in...I'm not one for chunks in my food...unless the chocolate is warm and smooth and I don't have to bit it!

I do have what feels like a lot of variety. I had bits of golden beets last night!

Never liked beets... I was surprised to learn about their high sugar content.

I didn’t know either!

I think this is the first time we tried beets. They’re really tasty; I do recommend them. They’re sweet in a natural way, like fruit is sweet but not exactly fruit-tasting. Maybe somewhere between carrots and golden raisins?

It’s hard to avoid sugar, salt, and fat while consuming enough calories and eating a variety.

I actually really like beets and sometimes I crave them ( I think when my iron is low?). I like borscht soup too!
