JinMay : I would think being called in a third time is a good thing? Usually they don't keep calling you back if they aren't interested in you. Maybe ask if there is another position open if the one you are applying for is not open.

Were you able to get a set of the Halloween Academy items, JinMay?

@Lemon Cheesecake: The positions available are all for a teacher assistant. Only one of them is full time though which is what I'm interested in but I'll accept part time if the full time gets filled. At the end of the interview, I was told they'd call me two weeks to let me know if I needed to go back to talk to anyone else. *sigh*
I'm not sure if I got a set, but I appreciate the gifts I have received. Thank you!

@npixelz: Well I never truly got denied. They just never called me back both previous times. The first time I had to call back just to ask if the position was filled or not and they just told me they were still going through the references. I'll just wait and see what happens. I have applied to other places though in the meantime.

Apply other places for sure ... and maybe this will open up. Hiring can be a long process especially in certain fields where they are required to go through a set procedure.

If you want to work at the post office full time you have to take the test then wait for your name to come to the top when a position comes open & then pass your training ... window clerk or driving depending on the position. But there are also assistant positions available where you don't have to take the test first but the benefits are minimal in those positions. Sometimes though that is a good way to start & to find out if you really want to invest in a full time position.

UPS also hires assistants & seasonal.
