Being unable to post right after updating a trade

This is kind of annoying me. Every time I update a trade, the site behaves as if I had just written a forum post. If I try to submit a post, it tells me that I have to wait for the post cooldown. Is there a reason to this?

I believe this is happening because a PM is sent when you submit your post. It looks like phpbb considers pm's and posts to be the same and lumps them under one flood limit.

Aww so you don't have any options to control this?

I bumped down our flood limit a little because we don't really have a problem with spammers right now; however, I don't think the wait time is unreasonable.
