by .....you see that someone has made a big fire in the market-square:
"What's this? A fire in the market-square, is that really allowed?" you think to yourself.
You are curious so you approach cautiously.
As you approach you see shadows around the fire - they sway backwards and forwards.
You uncertainly take another few steps closer when one of the shadows turns to look at you.
The shadow’s eyes gleam and on its face a sharp toothed smile appears:
"A new face! How delicious." He says, licking its lips with a long tongue.
"Come sit down with us, this place is......."safe" so you really shouldn't go wandering, there is dangerous things out there in the darkness…"
You then hear horrible groans and explosions in the distance and when you look at the roads from the square you see shambling figures that don’t look very friendly.
So, you hesitantly sit down at the fire. When you look closer at the group around the fire you see some humans and other beings amongst the shadows.
Some are shivering and others are wounded. You move to sit down among the humans but before you do the sharp toothed shadow grabs you and gives you a flashlight.
"Everyone it is Ssstory-TIME!" he says, letting out a chuckle."
This is a writing contest for halloween and horror themed writing, that means long stories,short stories and poems can all be submitted her as a entry into the contest.
You may submit however many entries you want but there will only be one prize per person.
The point of this is to write yourself and show us your creativity.
So getting other people to write for you or copying a story from a book or internet is considered cheating.
