You have bean sprouts/tauge (plus some chopped carrots, onions, small shrimp) inside them instead of the regular meat.

It tastes pretty good if you dip it in a bit of vinegar.

Oh I forgot the garlic. Lol. You can probably substitute the shrimp with something like small bits of pork since the meat's main purpose is adding flavor to the vegetables.

As for fresh or fried rolls, I don't mind either. I particularly love those fresh Vietnamese rolls. But the spring roll wrapper for those are pretty difficult to find from where I live.
