Hm... depends on the wood, tree bark? Might be fun to pick at. Rough wood, gah splinters, dirty tree bark/wood? Gaaah, dirty! smooth polished varnished and clean wood...? Ooooh fun to touch. Carved wood? Must explore with fingers. super soft wood? Ooooh, pet it, touch it, poke it!
