My next report at the end of the year will have marks for entirely different things that we'll be being next semester so if i really try they'll be better then
I got an A in Health, Japanese, Art and Computer Literacy
I got a movie ticket and i'm on the school's language honours board for being one of the top in Japanese
But i got bad in most other things. Mostly in the important things XD
Most of my friends are getting awards at an assembly tomorrow for getting 5+ A's
And then there's just me ;-;

I'd say math really isn't that important as long as you understand the basics though.
I mean, it's not like you have to do daily calculus computations and stuff.

And if you've got a great Japanese skills, you get more options for yourself. Pretty hard to have a competent Japanese level though and maintaining the knowledge of another language is really difficult without regular practice.

In where I live, college/university education is still almost mandatory if you want to find a good job. Or in general a job that's a bit less temporary.

It's just something i really don't want to do. I'll be happy getting a job at a nearby game store tbh (Staff discount)
But my dream is to become a Gaming YouTuber because i would get to play video games all day.
I won't go and they can't make me
Besides, i wouldn't be able to afford that extra education.

I see. Well it's good in a way. Kinda sucks here when it comes to job opportunities. I mean, even if you graduate from a good university but your course isn't particularly in demand, you'd still end up working in a call center.

I mean it's not like it's a shameful job or anything but the night shifts are pretty bad for people's health for the most par.

Being a Youtuber is hard work. Not just the video part but also the gaining audience one.
There are already a lot of them around, after all.

Alicat: sounds like you got 4- A's though and that's great! What did you average out to for your grade point average?
Figure out where you dropped in your scoring - tests?homework? assignments? and just bring those up next time.

Unless you have a job to go into after you graduate or continuing education is really expensive then I would suggest you go to school and get your associates degree at least. It could help you to get a better paying job later on and some businesses have internships if you are going to school. Just a thought, but it is often easier to continue going on rather then try to go back to school later.But it is true, if you decide to go for a degree then look around to see which courses graduates are actually getting jobs when they graduate. Nursing is in demand here and computer degrees too.

I'm really not interested in any degrees or any fancy jobs.
I have a few friends that are small time Youtubers and my cousin (by marriage) is a somewhat YouTuber
If i go into it with all i have then i'm sure i'll get views. I'm not asking for much...I'd like to even be a Tuber and have a part-time job as well, so then the working at a game store thing suits.

I seem to have lost my long attention span for work and the teachers aren't good at explaining things the easy way anymore. They always take the long way around.
I don't really mind if i miss out on the job opportunities. I doubt even if i had the right stuff to get a good job they wouldn't hire me anyway '^^

Is the cost of living low where you are? I can't imagine being able to afford living expenses without a full time job.

It's expensive to rent... yeah it's expensive to buy.....

ok... but I would strongly recommend you don't even entertain the idea of not graduating - even if it was just passing the grades to get through. Maybe you can take more electives next year and make it more interesting - or are you supposed to graduate this year? Hang in there Alicat!
