wordplay...play on words ... that makes sense.

I wish my brain worked fast enough to come up with puns quickly.

No such thing as a "bad pun" they're all good! Unless they're offensive I guess? Those are bad

It's quite fun when you've got it mastered! And it's not just puns and poems, a lot of my "skills" come from association! Like someone will say something and my brain will often immediately jump down multiple rabbit holes to associate it with something completely different and then make a way to link them! It's honestly-dare I say it-impressive tbh
What impresses me more tho, is life itself, and the fact that living organisms can even exist and think thoughts, follow genetic instructions, have emotions, personalities, passions, desires, both metaphorical dreams and actual dreams, ambitions, skills, talents! Even trees and plants follow genetic instructions to keep on producing more of themselves, even evolving to fend off predators via smells, tastes, poison, etc! And lifeforms with thought processes are all unique! Just like how every snowflake is different, so is every living thing! Life is amazing! For life to exist at all is a miracle! Whether a miracle of science or a miracle of a divine being or beings, I don't know, all I know I'd that it is fascinating and awesome that we are even alive!

Ahem, sorry I got so passionate there

I agree Npix!

What fascinates me as well is that apparently the basic coding for every living thing is the same, its just small changes that make each unique. Kind of like we are all Noah's arks of information if someone knew how to read it all & separate the differences.

I was driving to work early this morning & a young buck & doe darted onto the road, the doe tried to run up a rock cliff then darted back into the road ... I of course had slowed down & then stopped when I first saw them. So glad it was light out & not dark!

One of the bad things of going into work early is the wildlife on the roads!

One of the bad things of walking home in the morning after a night shift is also ggd wildlife! Mostly it's squirrels, birds, bunnies, and cats, but I've had the odd skunk and raccoon here and there!

One skunk recently, actually! It was a day I was going home early, so it was quite dark. I saw the skunk and stopped before reaching it. It's tail was in the air and it wasn't moving. It was so dark I thought it was a plant! So i kept walking and then it walled away and I was so surprised! I had gotten so close before it decided to walk away, so I was really lucky it didn't spray me!

Yeah, I got so close! I was on the sidewalk and it was on the grass right beside the curb! When it waddled away I had a miniature heart attack followed by relief!

It always amazing me there is so many wild life that are hidden during the day so you don't realize that they are around... until you see remnants of them that get left behind.

So long as the remnants aren't animal corpses

Seen a few of those on the road

Mostly birds and rabbits, but a few squirrels and also a cat once

Real sad
