The flu is terrible this year. Even my cat doesn't feel very good. I am hoping my infant doesn't get it. He's only 8 months old. It would be very hard for him him to shake. Thanks. : ) I am surprised that I was able to recover so fast. I have lupus (among a pretty big list of other things), so I need to take immunosuppressants. The only thing about that is that I get sick so easily and I have a hard time recovering.

I am. : ) Aside from the medical things I always have to deal with, I have recovered fully. I went to a support group with my daughter and met a guy who is also an Irish immigrant. He was also born in Dublin. We talked about immigration and it was interesting to hear that he's had the same sorts of issues on things, like dialect differences and cultural differences.
