I thought it would get a bit darker than it did considering I'm not that far from Indiana and Illinois where the total eclipse happened. But it just got a little dim, that's it.

it won't happen in my state until sometime after 2200.... from what I checked lol

The last total solar eclipse in my state happened in 2017, I don't remember much, but I STILL wasn't in the direct path. But it at least got darker than this time when it was just partial and not in my state.
