Adol Christin Yeah, I had a lot of fun. Myself and my friends struggle to stay out late these days - we're not used to it anymore lol. It's just turned 11pm. What time is it where you live?

You healing up well? That must have been a struggle to keep quiet. Dressings can be so awkward to put on yourself lol.

Oh! It's pretty late.
I'm glad you had fun though. Sometimes the transition from youth to older person is like a snap. Quickly. It's 7am.

I am but they reopened a scar I just healed. It took months to get it to close. OTL I might shower later if I have any energy.
She would've been mad to see me try to do it on the edge of the bed myself.
It's hard to look down and trying to figure out where to put the gauze bandage just right.

oh ouch Adol! :strain: I hope they didn't have to reopen the scar from infection! I hope it heals up properly this time so that you don't have to go through it all again! Trying to change dressings on your own is not so easy to do! I remember crying a couple times out of frustration because I couldn't angle myself in the mirror to see what I was doing and I just made it hurt!

Glad you got out for fun MissAutumn! I can stay up late at home but for some reason don't have the energy if I go out!

Luckily no. My surgery was to correct something that was a negative result from the first. So they reopened the scar from the first.

Changing dressings by yourself is honest one of the hardest things there is. Having to contort yourself can be the worst. I'm sorry it was painful for you.
My scar is right where my underwear waistband touches. So now I just have a shower and I just plopped my thick gauze in between my body and underwear and called it fine. Lol

It's scary how quickly it's happened. I'd say about 3 years ago I noticed the struggle to stay out until the early hours.

Ouch Adol! Gauzes are a pain to get in the right position and get it to stay there whilst you get the bandages around it. Fingers crossed that you don't have to have it reopened again.

Lemon - I'm the opposite. I get tired at home so much quicker. I get sleepy at 9pm. :scream: It's probably because I'm either watching TV or reading in the evenings.

Hopefully they put you on light duty then and you don't have to chase anyone down! Can you get to sit in an airconditoned car and drive around doing patrols?

I had a very lovely day, got some pictures of some of my flowers that have bloomed...helped wax the car and now its all smooth and shiny and not so embarrassingly dirty!

It usually is just for work but I also drive with one or two in front if just them are with me. Everyone does it here, ride with little kids in front of them.

I don't even think mopeds are allowed on the freeways here...and its dangerous for motorcycles as well...there is so much distracted driving or people in a hurry that cut other drivers off.
