I'm usually just sat reading or playing a video game when it's raining.

I think the squirrels are only considered a pest here because the non-native greys are causing the native reds to die off (they carry disease that the reds are not immune to and the greys are more competitive for resources). They steal from bird feeders (which personally doesn't bother me) and the ones in the city parks are so tame that they'll steal from your picnic.

Red Squirrels are cuter. They're so rare that I've never seen one in real life.

There’s a squirrel who LOVES running along our driveway. I frequently see it multiple times per day.

I need to figure out what color it is.

Actually, no, our driveway is popular with squirrels. This morning I saw two at the same time.

Squirrels here are very skittish, but we have some very aggressive waterfowl who make nuisances of themselves.

I was almost attacked by one.

Ducks and especially Geese, can be aggressive.

Some farmers use geese instead of guard dogs because apparently they're better at defending territory. I can believe it. Swans can be pretty nasty when it's breeding season.

Geese and ducks are also stinky and make A LOT of poop. There was a problem of them at a near by lake, you couldn't even wlak up to the edge of the water because the poop muck was so awful.

Yeah, at the lake nearby, there are two Muscovy ducks and a bunch of mallards. The sidewalks have a lot of poop. But it could be worse.

I do like to watch them fly though! They can be so graceful in flight!
