The bread that has either a crunchy and thin texture or thick and soft pleases the palette with it textures and balances the other ingredients.
The tomato sauce with it's spices and crushed tomatoes gives a base taste that affects all the other ingredients and contains many taste sensations in itself.
The cheese keeps everything together and envelops the toppings and pizza as to keep the flavors contained.
That and much more make pizza tasty.
It's a meal with several ingredients that often taste good and t satisfies the body therefore it's tasty
