My school has trimesters so We're in the middle of the second trimester. Although, I did have homework from the break between 1st and 2nd trimester.
I had to read the first 10 chapters of The Grapes of Wrath over this break.

Depends on the school you go to. If you live in Japan they get Summer homework which is unheard of in America but is common there.

I had to read 4 books over summer.
If you take AP Euro History you have homework over the summer here at my school.

OMG you're the only other person I've ever heard of that has trimesters.
I had those in HS. No one else knows what i'm talking about. XD
Even still, I never had break hw even during 2nd tri. XD

Ohh book reading was your homework pffft I would of gotten that done easily.

I have a 2 part class that's with the same teacher so she gave us homework over that break.

That stinks that you have hw, but it's really nice that you have the same teacher. I had 2 different geometry teachers for part a and b. AND I had 2 different Algebra 1 teachers. That was rough switching into their style from the old teaching style.

I've never had different teachers for different parts of a math class.
Even in middle school it was the same teacher.
I actually had the same teacher for pre-algebra and algebra. It was the worst though. She was so mean.

Wow that is confusing Mousy. I only had 2 semesters and we had the same teachers for the entire year.

I've only had 2 kinds of math teacher- Mean ones and coaches.
My algebra 1 part b teacher was a soccer coach. He did not care AT ALL what you did in that class. He told us that we didn't have to do the math, just turn in a piece of paper with your name on it. Write a story about your dog. I don't care. I'll give you the grade for it. His philosophy was that the tests would show the true grade. It was really nice though, if you were having a rough day, you could sleep and he wouldn't give you any grief about it. I got the highest grade in the class and got an award for it. It was a B. I can't imagine how awful everyone else's grades were. XD

I had some great teachers and some awful ones throughout different courses. XD

My math teacher in middle school made a lot of kids cry, she was really mean.
My geometry teacher didn't really care what you did as long as you were doing okay in the class. I always used my phone and played games in her class. I still got like a 95% and 93% in part B of the class.
My English teacher last year was the basketball coach. She just gave us a lot of busy work.

I had a professor in college give busy work. I'm paying to be here. Don't give me busy work. <.<

I think the only teacher that was really bad for me was gym teachers. I was not so athletically inclined so I didn't want to really do the classes but was forced to.

I think the worst teacher I've had was my chemistry teacher last trimester.
She would explain something once and expect us all to completely understand it then got mad because we didn't know anything.
