It was really chilly at the weekend. I had to de-ice my car's windscreen on Sunday morning (not what you want to do when you have work at 6am)

Can you put a window screen cover on the inside to keep it warmer? (We have them here to block the sun out but I'm wondering if it would help in keeping the windshield warmer or if it would just make the inside freeze up.

I have one for the outside that works but because the weather was so mild lately I didn't put it on the night before. I was shocked to see ice

It's long enough that the sides go into the car. The doors keep it from blowing away. You can also use the windscreen wipers to keep the middle in place too.
