Ahh yes... blackouts. last month my workplace has it's power shutdown 3 times, with the third one happening because some rat gnawed one of the generator cables.

Rats can gnaw through pretty well anything... the soy in wires & cables has them & mice gnawing on wires of newer cars as well.

Best to keep a rodent free environment as much as possible. So many diseases as well ... even just breathing in their pee & droppings smells! <shivers>

I grew up in a poor neighborhood and we had bad sewer rats like HUGE GODZILLA CAT SIZE RATS they chewed through my house door and got inside
