What are you evaluated on?

I get evaluated on a lot of different things. O_O
for a formal evaluation an administrator sits in your room for 45min. They watch for student engagement (anything below 80% is poor), technology usage, student centered learning, does the lesson match the state objectives, do my students know what they are supposed to be learning, how you talk to your students, how in depth the questions are, and so on and so on and so on.
You only have one formal eval/year or every 2 years. I had mine about 2-3 weeks ago. I had no idea the administrator was even coming. He just popped in and sat down and I kept on doing my thing. XD

I got an EXCELLENT evaluation. I got proficient and exceeds in all of the categories.
Teaching is a lot of work.
sometimes it's worth it and sometimes it isn't. XD
This is my first year, so i'm a really young teacher. It gets difficult sometimes, but Thanksgiving break is coming and I have never needed it more! Haha!
