Yes, he did that, when he killed ryvvi. he attacked himself and then cured himself to throw us off his trail.

Doughnut that isn't legal either I can't be both Mafia and Doctor. Only the doctor can save anyone so how could I save myself if I'm Mafia? I can save myself from Mafia as the doctor but not as Mafia! Just you know throwing out that bit of rule logic for ya!
