I teach 5th grade social studies. It's really hit or miss at this age. Right now we're doing research projects over the 13 colonies and colonial life and I just want to shove my head through a wall. 10 yr olds + research= sadness. But they have to learn somewhere. "Wait... I have to click the link? Google won't just tell me the answer??" Head meet wall. XD
Mousy Oh nice. 5th graders can be tough. Not that it's the same...but my husband and I taught 5th and 6th graders during Sunday school. It can definitely be difficult getting and keeping their attention lol. I hope it goes smoothy for you. I'm sure you're doing wonderful =)
I'm a caretaker for a friend of mine who has down syndrome

The funny thing about this thread is that it doesn't matter that there isn't any tangible prize, everyone is just thrilled to be the last to post before Diana... and as far as cake ...you can always visit my sweete shop for recipes or you are welcome to visit any of my threads...enjoy
early to bed, early to rise, makes a person ...well, early to rise anyway, can't seem to get the early to bed part down. Think it's possible to still be a winner ...after all, the early bird gets the worm...
